Low pressure alkaline hydrolysis (AH) systems have been used in funeral service for over ten years. We were very fortunate to be able to test Aqualyser at a funeral home that already had an established AH system and professional staff experienced with the process.
We installed an Aqualyser in July 2024 next to an existing AH system and flame crematory, and did over a began trials on human remains shormid-August. After each trial we create a record of observations and metrics which we review with Pearson staff, and decide on adjustments and modifications for the next trial.
We have have processed six cases and with the assistance of Pearson staff, each has resulted in an acceptable result for the families of the decedent's.
We are committed to continuous improvement of the Aqualyser system and to always learning from the feedback of funeral industry professionals. The staff at Pearson’s have been exemplars in this regard, supportive at all times but pushing us to do better when appropriate.
